Williamsbubb May 17, 2019

Williamsbubb is a miniature re-creation of a colonial town circa 1775 skillfully organized and led by 5th grade teacher Shannon Arbildo.

A record breaking rainfall on 5/16 cast great doubt on the whole event, but we got lucky with a cloudy day and occasional sun breaks. Starting at 6:45 AM, whole 5th grade families pitched in to get it done. For this new location after the new Multi-Purpose building was built, a new layout was designed with most sets spaced 5 feet apart forming a large "L" with the 40 foot ship Ranger at the corner.

It is staged by the entire 5th grade class with support from dozens of parents. The audience is the remaining 500 Bubb students, parents and family. Once again it was a rousing success for all of the participants and the hundreds of students who walked the talk of Williamsbubb. Below is the list of Volunteers. (Alas, some are probably still missing!)

If you would like an original image (these are reduced to 800 x 600), email Rick Van Mell and include the image caption and number.
