Thursday's rain departed in time for a sunny sunrise to greet the 6:30 AM set up crew. The void between the YMCA building and Rooms 27,28 & 29 soon became packed with piles of backgrounds and boxes as students and parents emptied the big container and magically constructed Williamsbubb. Even the good ship Ranger morphed from bicycle racks and grass to the towering two-master with flag flying.
The 2015 production of Williamsbubb by Bubb School is a minature re-creation of a colonial town circa 1775 skillfully organized and led by 5th grade teachers Gayle Dyer, Robert Poling, and Gail Lee. Lead coordinators this year were Theresa Martin (volunteer); Shell D'Augusta, Beth Ciemiewicz, Lisa Gefken (luncheon), and Allison Devenney (Shopper).
It is staged by the entire 5th grade class with support from dozens of parents. The audience is the remaining 500 Bubb students, and the 5th grade from Huff Elementary who walked to Bubb for the show. Once again is was a rousing success for all of the participants and the hundreds of students who walked the talk of Williamsbubb.
Enjoy! (Caution videos start out loud, so you'll want to reduce the volume.)

Huzzah!
