Pot Luck - Anything In A Pot

What a great way to wrap up another season of potlucks in Bubb Park! 80 degree weather mellowed into a soft evening with no wind and dry grass. Kids played, rode bikes, kicked soccer balls & even saw some dads out there too.

The "Pot Luck - Something In A Pot" brought out a whole bunch of creativity. One of the best - and we didn't even get a picture - was Pot stickers!!! Thanks Gill & Becky. But there were great chilies, and concoctions with chicken, shrimp, rice, and even a taco casserole! Cookies in pots, dough balls in pots, and absolutely delicious peaches in a pot made for fine desserts.

As best we could make out the totals, there were 29 families represented by 74 people, and 13 dogs. The table is below. (If I missed a few, you can email me and I'll make it better.)

So, now the heavy lifting starts -- Halloween bashes, Thanksgiving feasts, Christmas & Hanukkah festivities, and a rousing New Year to bring in (complete with a new President!). After all that, we'll be looking forward to the first, relaxed, Bubb Park Mothers & Dogs Society potluck of 2009.
